Let's go to the Museum!

< Introduction of Wakayama Prefectural Museum >

The permanent exhibition room introduces the local history of Wakayama prefecture by illustrating the lives of everyday people and their religion with some reconstructed models. The exhibit is separated into six zones. Each zone displays a period, from the primitive age to modern times. Each zone has two displays. One illustrates the lives of common folk through descriptions of historical development and detailed models. The other is much more specific and theme-oriented. The "Kumano Religion" corner might be worth special attention. We have prepared 10 computer terminals to aid in it's explanation.
